It was a game of last few minutes of each half that Liverpool played against Crystal Palace. The Reds scored each of the two goals in the last minute of each half to earn the needed 2-0 win and another three points in the bag. The win put Liverpool joint top at the submit of the league and this is way different from how they started last season.
With same line up as the one on opening day, Jurgen Klopp men knew what was expected of them and they did just that, get three points.
The game started with the Eagles trying to see if they could get something in front of their home fans which Liverpool defense led by Van Dijk calmly dealt with. Liverpool defense which consist of three younsgters who were not close to the line up at the start of the league last sseason in Gomez, Robertson and Alexandre Arnold.
The hunger in them came to party has they kept their calm and shut out Christian Benteke and other Palace attacker.
A late penalty in the first half and a 90 minute goal was enough for the Reds to take the win, although it wasn’t a convincing one. Another key moment was the fact that Allison have settled well at Anfield as he kept another clean sheet in the game. As he get more games under his belt, he will even improve and we might really be seeing a goalie showing that he worth the amount paid for his service by Liverpool.
