Premier League round-up: Chelsea finally beaten, Man United booed off

England international midfielder Dele Alli put Tottenham ahead in the eighth minute of the encounter and compatriot Harry Kane made it two in the 16th, before Asian star Heung-min Son rounded off the win with a brilliant solo effort nine minutes into restart.

France international striker Olivier Giroud who joined Chelsea from Arsenal in the previous winter window, netted a late consolation for the guest, scoring a header with only five minutes left, but after the match Maurizio Sarri disclosed he had been anticipating a tough afternoon – and described his sides defending as “a big disaster”
